Wanderlust, the celebration of yoga, music and wellness, returns to Whistler from July 30 – August 3.
The festival brings together leading yoga teachers, music acts, renowned speakers, top chefs and breath-taking performances, all against the beautiful backdrop of Whistler. Whether you want to meditate, go for a hike or check out a lecture, there is something for everyone.
Here are 10 reasons you should come to Wanderlust:
Welcome the sunrise
Take in the morning serenity and welcome the start of a new day at Alta Lake as the sun rises from behind the mountains.
There are a number of events that allow you to take in the sunrise, whether it’s just to watch or as part of yoga, meditation or a morning walk.
Head up the mountain to relax in the wonderful natural beauty of Whistler. Mountaintop meditation takes place on most days and those taking part can enjoy the quiet and calm brought by the remoteness of the location.
Look out over the valley before relaxing and drifting off to the sound of nature.
The festival is packed with performers and musicians throughout the days. Artists including Michael Franti and Thievery Corporation will take to the stage, along with a host of DJs and other performances taking place.
