12th Annual Sea to Sky Charity Golf Tournament

Published on

We are proud to announce that we are sponsors of the 12th Annual Sea to Sky Charity Golf Tournament, co-hosted by BlueShore Financial, and the Pemberton Valley Supermarket.

Funds raised from the event this year will go to support the Pemberton Children’s Centre. Last year’s tournament was in support of the Sea to Sky Community Hospice and raised $20,000.

About the Pemberton Children’s Centre

The Pemberton Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit childcare centre and registered Canadian Charity. The Pemberton Childcare Society oversees the operation of the Centre with the Mission Statement: “To champion healthy, sustainable childcare together with families and the community.” They provide an integrated, play-based philosophy that focuses on respecting and recognizing children’s uniqueness and helping them to reach their potential in all areas of development. They offer programs from 11 months to 5 years old.

As a non-profit society the Pemberton Children’s Centre is reliant on fundraising to sustain the high quality of programming while keeping costs affordable. The Centre relies on fundraising activities to raise money and support Centre operations. Money raised cannot be used for wages or as income to benefit members.
