Meet Whistler’s Local Food Trucks

Support a local business and grab a bite to eat while you enjoy one of Whistler’s parks. During the Summer season, the Whistler Resort Municipality organizes the food truck program, which runs every day from June 30th to September 3rd. You can find one of Whistler’s local food trucks on a rotating schedule in Lakeside Park, Lost Lake Park and Rainbow Park. Whether you are craving fresh juices, tacos or looking to try something new like souvlaki food, the local food trucks have something for you. Food trucks are a wonderful addition to Whistler’s Park experience, so let’s meet the local food trucks!

Mountain Squeeze

Offering a selection of creative cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices, vegan smoothies and food items Mountain Squeeze is fuelling the Sea to Sky Corridor with convenient healthy choices! Supporting Whistler’s outdoorsy and free-spirited lifestyle, founders Ami and Erin are on a mission to nourish your adventure. The Mountain Squeeze truck can be found around Whistler from May to October. Mountain Squeeze also offers catering for events, festivals and corporate catering. And don’t worry their delicious produce can be found year-round at locations in Squamish including Cloudburst Cafe, Fuel & Forest Cafe, Backcountry Brewing and Nesters in Squamish!

Aloha Bowls

Aloha Bowls offer up fresh, fast and delicious healthy food! Serving up acai bowls, smoothies and other snacks to Vancouver and the Sea to Sky area. Their ingredients are simple, clean and sourced from people they know and trust. While Aloha Bowls are a Vancouver based food truck they are in the process of securing a permanent Whistler truck and we’re excited to see more of the colorful truck around the Whistler area.

Carte Diem

Carte Diem- Seize the Souvlaki offers a wide range of Souvlaki cuisine including Greek salad, wraps, ‘Souvlaki Greek Out’ dinners and ‘Souvlaki in a Bowl’. All of their food is made fresh and comeswith delicious dips such as hummus and tzatziki. Carte Diem promises an amazing food experience and endeavors to feed people’s hearts as well as their stomachs! The Squamish based food truck can be found across the Sea to Sky corridor in locations like Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish and Britannia Beach, check out their schedule. Operating from February to November, Carte Diem is open every day, offering lunch and dinner take-out orders for collection or delivery in the Squamish area. They also offer events and catering services so why not ‘Greek Out’ your next event.

The Rockin Wok

Asian inspired food using fresh and local ingredients serving up delicious stir-fried noodles! The Rockin Wok is run by Donné and Rory who have worked as sous and head chefs around the world. They are passionate about simple, fresh street food and hope that their food inspires people and brings back happy travel memories. The Whistler based food truck offers 100% gluten and 100% dairy free food. They operate during the Summer months and also offer catering services with a tailored menu especially for you.

Teriyaki Boys

Based out of Squamish, Teriyaki Boys have been serving the Sea to Sky region with fresh Japanese stir fry since 2014. Specialising in unique yakisoba, the Teriyaki boys are open for business from the end of March to November. You can check out their schedule on their Instagram @teriyaki_boys_squamish.

Luz Tacos

As they say, “good food is where we park it “, Luz Tacos offers up amazing tacos, tapas, fresh salsa and other original creations including delicious traditional churros. Luz means light and they aim to brighten up your day with fresh, fun and delicious cuisine. This gourmet food truck also offers custom catering for every type of event, from corporate events to wedding parties. Luz Tacos promises to customize their menu with a variety of fresh food made in-house and signature cocktails guests are sure to love! This Squamish based food truck can be found at many events around Whistler and outside some local breweries in the fall, check out their schedule!

Flacas Tacos

Flacas Tacos deliver badass Mexican street tacos to the Sea to Sky area. Based out of Squamish this food truck can not only be found at your local park but also at local farmers markets. They invite you to live the taco life by trying one of their unique tacos served on their famous handmade corn tortillas!

The Schnitzel Shack

This family run operation has been spreading a taste of Europe throughout British Columbia since 2010. The Schnitzel Shack offers European comfort food in the form of sausage, meatballs, cabbage rolls and of course Schnitzel! Based out of Squamish, all of their food is handcrafted using the best local ingredients. You will find them at your local park throughout the Summer as well as many farmers markets in the Sea to Sky area. Or you can bring a taste of Europe to your next event by booking this food truck.
