The Made in Whistler Winter Market takes place each and every Saturday from December 20 through to April 4. Busy this weekend? No worries – it’ll be there next week! The market runs from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, meaning you can even stop by after you spend a day on the mountain.
2. It’s Indoors
Freezing cold? Pouring rain? No need to worry about standing in the cold or wet – the market is conveniently located indoors at the Westin Resort & Spa, which is steps from the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains in the Village. You can literally go in your ski boots!
3. It’s Free!
There’s no entry cost or admission fare, it’s free to attend. Window shoppers and browsers are welcome, but be warned: you’ll probably find something you’ll want to pick up along the way.
4. There’s Tons to Choose From
Bring your re-usable shopping bags, because there’s plenty to check out. There’s anywhere from 12 to 15 vendors any given week, and you’ll find everything from jewelry and pottery to woodwork and fine art.
Hungry? Good – there’s also some freshly baked goods and artisan foods to indulge in. BYO appetite.

Buying from a market is way more satisfying than buying from a regular store or online. You get to meet the person who crafted the item, learning about how the product is made and how they got started in their business. At some booths you’ll even get to see the artist in action.
